The Lord has put it on our hearts to provide not only gifts for as many children as we are able, but also, on the evening of Sunday, December 21, we will be hosting a Christmas Celebration Banquet where those who would otherwise not have a bountiful Christmas will be treated like royalty!! There will be a gourmet dinner served with elegant linen and fine china service, and all in attendance will be treated to a dramatic musical presentation by Morning Star’s Ministry of the Arts. We know that this endeavor will touch the heart of Jesus, and there is no better gift we can give Him!

We have negotiated a discounted rate for the dinner with the Culinary Department of Elgin Community College, and we would love to be able to fill every seat in the dining hall…but we can’t do it alone! If your heart is moved like ours by the needs of families that each and every one us encounter in our lives, then we would like to ask you if you would partner with us to make this Christmas Celebration Banquet a holiday memory for these families that they will never forget!

If you are able to partner with us and be a blessing to a family this Christmas, the cost per person for the banquet is $13.00, and we ask that you would prayerfully consider sponsoring as many people as possible. To make your donation you can send a check made out to Morning Star Church, or you can make your contribution using PayPal. Simply click on the “Donate” tab and select the “Donate” button under the “Christmas Banquet” heading. Any amount that you can give will be greatly appreciated!
